SHRED DAYis a city program where city residents can bring their sensitive documents to be shredded. Patrons need only to bring their documents to the W. Walworth Harrison Public Library parking lot on April 21st, 2017 from 8:00am to 11:30am
or UNTIL THE TRUCK IS FULL.

STEP UP TO STEP OUT is a grant-funding program for adults with Intellectual Disabilities, focused on assisting these individuals in stepping out into their communities - starting with their public library. Step Up to Step Out is sponsored by the W. Walworth Harrison Public Library in cooperation with Lakes Regional MHMR and Community Access. Space is limited so registration is required. Those who participate in at least 6 of the 8 programs will receive a certificate and free book in May 2017.
Dates remaining: Feb. 17, Mar. 17, Apr. 21, and May 19, 2018. 10:00am-11:30am.

LOVE ON A LEASH is a program providing certified therapy pet visitations to our library as Reading Education Assistance Dogs.
Your child can schedule an appointment to read to one of our therapy dogs by contacting the Children's Services Desk at 903-457-2992.
