Responsibilities


The Main Street Advisory Board is responsible for assisting in policy, reviewing the annual program budget, and determining the goals of the program. The Board should also be representative of the community, lending support to the local Main Street Manager and should be an advocate of downtown revitalization.

The mission of the Greenville Main Street Program is to encourage and promote downtown revitalization through a comprehensive approach of economic restructuring, design, historic preservation and promotions / special events, to enhance the cultural, economic and historical significance of the downtown area and to foster a spirit of community.

Our vision is for a revitalized historic downtown district, a place where history and preservation merge in a thriving economy.
