    Country music legend Charley Pride is coming to the Greenville Municipal Auditorium on October 17 for a one-night-only concert event! This is THE CONCERT of the year, and you won’t want to miss it! Tickets go on sale Monday, August 17 at 10:00 AM and range in price from $35 – $75.   2. Asleep at the Wheel Tickets on Sale

    August 20, 10:00 AM - October 16 @ Greenville Municipal Auditorium

    The Kenneth Threadgill Concert Series presents Asleep at the Wheel on October 16th at the GMA! Asleep at the Wheel has seen miles and miles of Texas. They got their kicks on Route 66. In 2010, the band clicked another milestone on the odometer – their 40th anniversary. Now in their 44th year, the band continues to introduce the western swing genre to a new generation on tour and takes audiences on the ride of a lifetime.

  3. Hometown Comedy Jam Tickets on Sale

    August 28 - October 24 @ Greenville Municipal Auditorium

    Couts Unlimited presents Hometown Comedy Jam at the GMA on October 24th! Brandon Couts has assembled three of the top comics in the DFW area for an event that you don’t want miss. Bring the house down with sidesplitting laughs as Blaq Ron, CJ Starr, along with host Los Codie keep the atmosphere lively and fun. This is an 18 and up event.

  4. Gun Show

    September 12, 9:00 AM - September 13, 4:00 PM @ Fletcher Warren Civic Center

    Vendors will be exhibiting everything from guns, knives and swords, including those that might have been used during the Civil War, WWI, WWII, etc. Some of the booths will also include books, gun parts, reloading supplies, ammo, prints and photos relating to military history. Come on out and have some fun buying, selling, trading or just browsing among the many items the vendors will display in their booths. This event is hosted by the Audie Murphy/American Cotton Museum so plan a visit to the Museum as well while in town for the show. Funding for this event is provided in part by the City of Greenville Hotel/Motel Occupancy Tax Revenues.

    The world's most acclaimed dueling pianos show. Mark & Clark are the original 'Twin Keys' and their show is an action packed dueling pianos concert combined with comedy. The have received gold albums in five countries throughout Europe.

    September 18 - September 19 @ Downtown Greenville

    10th anniversary of Rally. the festival will include the Cotton Patch Classic bike ride, vendors, a 5K, Kid's Alley, car show and full day of music. Friday night, the event kicks off with the Emerald City Band street dance at the courthouse square.

  9. Gale Hague Lone Star Express Band

    If you are 55 and over, join us for an evening of boot scooting fun at the Fletcher Warren Civic Center. The Gale Hague Lone Star Express Band will be performing some good ole classic country music the 3rd Saturday of each month. Bring your favorite finger food to share. Coffee and tea will be provided. Come make some new friends and practice your best country moves. Presented by Greenville Parks and Recreation.

    September 20, 7:00 PM - 9:00 PM @ Texan Theater

    Spend an informal evening with Greenville’s very own Kevin Banks as he takes you through his 25 year journey with The Walt Disney Company. Discover what it’s like to work at Walt Disney World, hear how Kevin brought different segments of Disney together through “synergy” and relive his experiences through numerous Disney global media events. You will also hear about his work on some of your favorite TV shows with Disney Cruise Line and working on the Great White Way with Disney on Broadway. It will be a fun unforgettable evening taking a peak “behind the curtain” of the most magical company on Earth!

    What is Exploring? Exploring is Learning for Life’s career education program for young men and women basically of high school age. Fire & Emergency Services Exploring is a hands-on program that exposes participants to many career experiences, leadership opportunities, and community service activities. The primary goals of the program are to help young adults choose a career path within fire and emergency services and to challenge them to become responsible citizens of their communities and country. Meetings are one evening a month and one Saturday a month. (1st Saturday and previous Wednesday). The Fire & Emergency Service Career Exploring program is very affordable with participation fees at $25 per year (pro-rated). Special activities, uniforms, events, leadership academies and conferences may cost more and would be determined by the local Exploring post. Scholarships and fundraising opportunities by the Post are available!
