The Texas Department of Transportation awarded the construction contract for this project in early May to RK Hall.  Construction is scheduled to begin in July and is estimated to take 2 years to complete.  This project is to reconstruct the portion of US 380 that is outside the city limits to a 4 lane divided highway and reconstruct the portion of US 380 that is inside the city limits to a 5 lane (4 lanes with a left turn lane) with curb and gutter.  This project includes the construction of a bridge over the KCS Railroad.

The drop inlets and storm sewer along Lee Street are complete.  The bridges at East Caddo Creek and Warren Branch Roadway B are almost complete.

The contractor is installing flexible base for Roadway B and a detour and new location roadway.  Construction of the header banks at the KCS Railroad overpass are underway.
