Crime Prevention Through Environmental Design (CPTED), Residential and Business Security Surveys –

Lt. Gary Barrow and Officer James Hamilton have completed the required courses and will soon take the State Exam to become Certified Crime Prevention Specialists. Through their training, they have become certified to conduct Residential Security Surveys, Business Security Surveys, and are also certified in CPTED. Lt. Barrow and Officer Hamilton are able to come to your residence or business and conduct a site survey that will point out deficiencies in the security of your home or business and give you recommendations to increase your security. Officer Hamilton is also certified to conduct security surveys at educational institutions.

These surveys are time-consuming and are limited to only a few per month. The report is confidential and covers everything from doors and windows to landscape and lighting. If you are interested in having a survey completed, please contact Lt. Gary Barrow or Officer Hamilton to schedule an appointment.
