Welcome to the City of Greenville Fire Department
Since 1883, Greenville has had firefighters ready to help in your worst moments. The City of Greenville Fire-Rescue Department currently employs over 50 trained personnel working around the clock to keep you and your loved ones safe. We strive to be one of the most progressive fire departments in the area and want Greenville to be a safe, healthy, and resilient place to live, work, and play.
We cover over 33 square miles within the city limits of Greenville, as well as provide mutual aid when requested from departments in Hunt County. The city is rapidly growing, and we are constantly training to meet the needs of a diverse community.
