Parkland Dedications Project
Park land dedication is a requirement imposed by the City of Greenville on subdivision developers and builders, mandating that they dedicate land for a park and / or pay a fee to be used by the local government entity to acquire and develop new park facilities or amenities. Park land dedication will enable the city to protect the interest of current residents and manage growth. The intent is that the landowner, developer, or new homeowners, who are responsible for creating the demand for the new park facilities or amenities should pay for the cost of the parks or amenities.
