The Central Services Division is an internal service division of the City. Its efforts sustain 26 public facilities (275,000 sq. ft.), and the Division is responsible for a fleet of 350 public vehicles.

Responsibilities include:

Managing preventative maintenance, corrective maintenance, and emergency repairs
Managing the Civic Center and Municipal Auditorium performance schedules
Tracking energy baselines for public facilities under Texas State Energy Law
Assisting City departments through implementation of the public facility recycling program
Beginning the "greening" of public facilities through use of environmentally safe cleaning solutions
Managing mail delivery, paper supply, City concessions, and fueling systems
