Design Guidelines & Compliance


The purpose of Downtown Design Guidelines is to help property owners and the Main Street Advisory Board in determining the types of alterations, renovations, and changes that will maintain the unique qualities of historic downtown Greenville.

Certificate of Design Compliance

A Certificate of Design Compliance is required before any person or entity may make any external alterations or external repairs of any substantial nature in any manner to any area, site, building, or structure within the confines of the Central Area (CA) Zoning District.
