Responsibilities




The Main Street Advisory Board was created to assist in the revitalization of downtown and reviews certificate of design compliance applications.  In other matters, the Board is advisory only and may make recommendations. The Board should be representative of the community and an advocate of downtown revitalization.

The mission of the Greenville Main Street Program is to encourage and promote downtown revitalization through a comprehensive approach of economic restructuring, design, historic preservation and promotions / special events, to enhance the cultural, economic and historical significance of the downtown area and to foster a spirit of community.

Our vision is for a revitalized historic downtown district, a place where history and preservation merge in a thriving economy.
