- Ensuring that all pets receive proper care
- Maintaining the Animal Control Shelter
- Responding to complaints
- Enforcing animal ordinances within the City limits
Animal Control Officers handle many routine, as well as emergency, situations with our local pets, including:
- Rabies control
- Capture of sick or injured animals
- Confinement of lost pets
- Quarantines
- Dog bites
- Adoptions
