Engineering

Responsibilities

The Engineering Division provides engineering support services for Public Works and other City departments. It is primarily responsible for designs, inspections, and contract administration relating to water systems, sewer systems, streets, and drainage facilities.

The Division conducts engineering and construction surveys, title and property searches, and designs water, sewer, street, and drainage projects. In addition, it prepares estimates, assists citizens and developers with information, and performs many other duties relating to civil engineering.
